Puppy Class
Start your pup off on the right paw with our expert puppy trainers! This class is specially designed for your puppy in the earliest stages of social development. Allow us to help you ensure your puppy is well mannered, confident, and socially adept. This class follows the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class curriculum. Topics covered will include potty training, socialization and confidence-building exercises, as well as beginning to lay the basic foundations for obedience. Upon completion of the 6-week class, you'll have the opportunity to take the "AKC STAR Puppy Test" - should you choose - so that your pet can be awarded a STAR Puppy medal. Whether your goal is gold medals or simply to start your puppy off on the right paw, this is the class for you. Once your puppy graduates from Rover Oaks Puppy Class, they can continue their training in our Good Dog Manners class!

Good Dog Manners Class
This is an excellent beginner class for people with dogs 1 year and older, or for puppies that have completed Rover Oaks' Puppy Class. Its never too late to learn! This class follows the AKC Canine Good Citizen Class (AKC CGC) curriculum. CGC is a ten-skill training program that focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community. We'll cover some of the most important topics and behaviors such as Sit, Down, Staying in Place, Leash Walking, Accepting a Friendly Stranger, Sitting Politely for Petting, Reaction to Another Dog and more! Upon completion of the 5-week class, you'll have the opportunity to take the "AKC CGC Test" so that your pet can be awarded the title of "AKC Canine Good Citizen" - should you wish to take the test. Whether your goal is new titles or just to help your dog learn their basic manners, this class is for you.
