We have a special area designated just for our small dog group -- it has a big grassy yard with lots of engaging toys, an inside air-conditioned room with play toys and lounge beds, and they even have their own private splash pool, covered pavilion and turf area. Dogs in our small dog pack enjoy socializing with their doggie friends, interacting with our daycare counselors, getting lots of exercise through chasing their friends and fetching toys; and going for a splash in the pool followed by a few rounds of zoomies around the small dog daycare field. Small Dog Daycare is typically recommended for dogs weighing 5-35 pounds. A la carte Rate: $31/day Punchcard Rate: $28/day
Half Day Option: $20 per day
Is your pup an in-betweener? Check out our Intermediate Daycare group! We’ve designed a new group for "in between" dogs who weigh 20-45 pounds and have a medium to high energy playstyle. This is perfect for pups who desire a more ruff-and-tumble playstyle than our small dog daycare group, but are too small in size to run with the big dogs. This creates a safer balance of pack dynamics, and also allows your dog to have a socialization experience that is better tailored to their preferences. A la carte Rate: $31/day Punchcard Rate: $28/day
Half Day Option: $20 per day
Our large dog daycare program is a high energy, interactive outdoor dog park for dogs that are typically over 35 lbs and well suited to large pack play. Dogs in our large dog pack engage in chase, wrestling, swimming and retrieving with their doggie friends and our counselors, providing them with a day full of mental and physical stimulation. Our goal is to send you home with a tired, happy pup! Large Dog Daycare is typically recommend for dogs weighing 35 pounds and up. A la carte Rate: $31/day Punchcard Rate: $28/day
Half Day Option: $20 per day
The Rover Oaks Group Play program is designed to provide a more structured experience for dogs who are lodging at Rover Oaks, as well as those who prefer a smaller group of dogs to play with, and includes more individualized attention, enrichment opportunities, and a more customized experience for each dog. Puppy Playschool is designed for puppies aged 4-12 months to teach good manners and prepare puppies for “graduation” into Rover Oaks’ Doggie Daycare Program! Puppies will learn proper socialization skills, appropriate group play, impulse control to curb jumping and demand barking, and foundations of basic obedience through “Sit”, “Down”, Recall, Walking on Leash and “Leave it”. Program includes daily puppy report card, supervision and training by CPDT Certified Dog Trainer and Doggie Daycare Counselors, 5 hour day full of learning and fun, availability Monday through Friday, and one free private lesson is included to help reinforce behaviors. 2-Week Program: $1,095
The Rover Oaks Junior Daycare program focuses on our puppies 4 months to 12 months old. Puppies do not need to be spayed or neutered until they are 12 months old. Females may not participate during their heat cycle. By keeping them in a group setting of no more than 15 dogs, we control their environment to ensure they learn proper group play behaviors. We also work on recall, sit, down, and stay, which helps the Junior Daycare members build a good relationship with our counselors, and it sets younger dogs up to enjoy Doggie Daycare for the rest of their lives. A la carte: $46/day Punch Card Rate: $41/day
This special program is for older, senior dogs with focus on relaxation and socialization with other senior dogs of similar temperament and play style (e.g., a low-key laid back day with lots of sunbathing and snuggles!). Senior Dog Daycare is in session at Rover Oaks Katy every Monday and Friday from 7am-noon. Rate: $15/day

Our team of dog care professionals provide quality care in a safe and supervised environment. They make special considerations of dogs in every play group, helping them learn how to behave in social situations, be more comfortable around new dogs and respond to basic commands from counselors.
A Good Solution For Busy Owners. Daycare will keep your dog active and fit instead of leading the bored life at home. Plus, they come home worn out and ready for a snuggle sesh!

Regular Daycare Drop-Off Schedule 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM Monday - Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday
Senior Daycare: available Mondays and Fridays, 7am-Noon Pawsitive Play: available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Pets can be dropped off anytime during those hours, and all pets must be picked up by closing time. Please contact the Doggie Daycare department at Rover Oaks Katy for more information regarding the specific schedule for daycare attendees at that location. Holidays may affect regular daycare hours.
New Client? Please complete our Social Evaluation Application.
Approval Process: To be considered, all candidates must be neutered or spayed (except for Junior Daycare), must not be aggressive or have any other excessive behavioral issues, current on required vaccinations, and using an effective flea & tick preventative. Our staff will contact owners to schedule their pet’s Social Evaluation after receiving the completed application forms and vaccination records. The Social Evaluation assesses the social skills of potential new pets by gradually introducing them to our approved daycare dogs. A pet may be evaluated while it is lodging at Rover Oaks as long as the Social Evaluation application has been submitted and the Social Evaluation appointment has been scheduled prior to the pet’s arrival for lodging. Dogs must at least 4 months old to participate in Junior Daycare and 12 months old to participate in any other daycare program at Rover Oaks.
Reservations are always required for pets to participate in daycare. A pet may be included in the Rover Oaks Doggie Daycare program as follows:
(A) Standing Reservation: Pets with Standing Reservations have reservations for a specific day (or days) of the week. The pet attends daycare on the same day (or days) of each consecutive week on an ongoing basis. A requirement for clients who request a Standing Reservation is the purchase of a Daycare Punchcard, which will be punched each time the pet attends daycare.
(B) Daily Call-In: Occasionally, a pet with a Standing Reservation is not able to come to daycare on its designated day, which leaves an "open slot” for that one day. Owners of approved pets (with or without standing reservations) may call Rover Oaks at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and leave a message inquiring about daycare availability for that day. If a space is available, Rover Oaks will contact the owner by 7:30 a.m.
(C) While Boarding: Pets approved for Doggie Daycare may make a reservation to participate in a daycare program when they are staying at Rover Oaks overnight.
One of the benefits of Doggie Daycare at Rover Oaks is playing in our large Dog Park. As a result, some pets will get dirty (especially on rainy days) while romping and rolling in the grass and wading pool. Our daycare staff will do their very best to clean up dirty pets before they are picked up by the owners. However, owners should understand that the primary role of our daycare staff is to supervise their pets, and time is not available to provide a thorough bath before sending pets home. As an alternative, pet owners may contact the front desk to schedule a “Daycare Bath” in the Grooming Salon. Baths begin around 12:00 p.m. and are usually completed by 5:30 p.m. Owners should understand that their pet could become dirty once again if allowed to return to Doggie Daycare after a bath.

Moose gets the human attention he loves and gets to socialize with other dogs and get some exercise in the process. When he hops out of the car, he makes a beeline for the big dog play area which means less owner guilt for leaving him for the day - he loves it!
When we pick Pudge up from daycare, he's so wiped out. So worth it. I know he has a blast. I really appreciate the staff for making daycare such a fun experience for him.
I have been taking my dog, Carter to Rover Oaks Doggie Daycare for about a year and a half and he absolutely loves it! He hangs out the window barking all the way to doggy daycare!
