Puppy Class (puppies 8-13 weeks old)
In this fun and dynamic puppy class, you learn how to solve typical behavior problems including mouthing, chewing and potty training and how to prevent serious problems that could develop later. You will also learn how to teach basic manners. This is an exciting time for you and your puppy, and early learning is a crucial part of optimal puppy development. Good Dog Manners (4 months +)
This class focuses on helping your dog learn the basic obedience skills of sit, down, come when called, stay and leash walking…. while you learn proven training theory. In addition, both you and your dog will learn important foundation behaviors for more advanced classes. Be ready for lots of fun and games, too! AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsibility. It is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class. This class is designed for puppies 4 -12 months of age and includes positive motivational training, general puppy care, socialization, puppy problems (nipping, barking, jumping up, leave it), controlled walking on lead, sit, down and stay on command and come when called. AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
In this class you will learn all you need to know to pass your AKC Canine Good Citizen test. This includes fine tuning basic skills and helping your dog become comfortable around distractions and unusual situations. Dogs and Humans attend all six classes together. Testing is included. Class meets one hour a week for six consecutive weeks. Call for complete class schedule and upcoming start dates. Prerequisite: Good Manners class (some exceptions may apply).

For Puppies ages 4-12 months. Puppy Playschool is designed to teach good manners and prepare puppies for “graduation” into Rover Oaks’ Doggie Daycare Program! Puppies will learn proper socialization skills, appropriate group play, impulse control to curb jumping and demand barking, and foundations of basic obedience through “Sit”, “Down”, Recall, Walking on Leash and “Leave it”. Program includes daily puppy report card, supervision and training by CPDT Certified Dog Trainer and Doggie Daycare Counselors, 5 hour day full of learning and fun, availability Monday through Friday, and one parent-only class monthly to help puppy parents reinforce behaviors.
Valentine’s Painting With Paws Class
February 7th | 6:00pm – 7:00pm
DATE NIGHT WITH YOUR DOG! Who needs a Valentine’s date when your heart is held by a paws? Join us for some one-on-one time with your true love and make a memory captured on canvas for a lifetime! In this one hour class, your dog will get to use their paws to create their very own canvas painting. All supplies will be provided and each participating dog will leave with a 12″ x 12″ canvas ready for display in your favorite gallery. Enjoy some sparkling wine and cheese too! Space is limited!
