Lodge & Learn Programs

Our Rover Oaks team of trainers would be happy to work with your dog one-on-one.  Leave the training to us while your dog stays at either of our facilities.  This is a great option if you are leaving for a business trip or vacation anyway.  We teach while you travel. You can also drop your dog off for day training.  This way you get the benefits of our training expertise but you still get to enjoy your dog in the evenings.

We offer several options:
 

1-Week Training 

 Recommended as a refresher for dogs who are taking one of our classes or friendly dogs who just need a few pointers on good manners.    
 

2-Week Training

 A good introduction to household manners for your dog. We get training rolling with some basic behaviors.  We also teach your dog how to greet people without jumping on them (or you can recommend a skill you'd like us to work on with your dog).    
 

3-Week
4-Week
Training

 Household manners and problem solving. Let's discuss your goals for your dog.  We cover the basics plus specific issues you'd like us to address.  Some problem behaviors are best solved at home, but others we can get to work on right here at Rover Oaks.  We can explore the possibilities together.    

Each of these training options comes with a goal-setting meeting prior to your dog's stay with us (required).  Then after our training time with your dog, we will show you the work we’ve done and how you can take it even further.  The number of follow up visits depends on the training plan you choose.  But in all cases we are committed to your continued success.  Good training is about establishing communication and a strong lifelong relationship with your dog.  We lay the foundation.  Then you see how much you can build on it.
